Whenever a CCDC tenant moves out of one of our properties, we use that change as an opportunity to upgrade the unit when necessary. Recently we did just that to one side of a duplex we own on West 11th Street.
We installed new wood floors and ceiling fans, replaced all of the kitchen countertops, and totally redid the bathroom. That included ripping out the plastic tub/shower surround and replacing it with a real tub and shower and attractive ceramic tile, installing a double vanity and new lighting and ripping up the vinyl flooring and replacing it with tile. We also painted the interior of the entire property, hung new window treatments, switched to a tankless water heater, and painted the front porch.
Here are a few photos of what we did:
We are thrilled with how the property looks now and our new tenant is in heaven, which makes the CCDC board of directors very happy.
