Don't Miss This Emotionally-Moving Photo Exhibit, "Seen and Unseen: A Sunday Afternoon in Clarksville"

"Seen and Unseen: A Sunday Afternoon in Clarksville" is now on view at the IDEA LAB at UT's John Warfield Center for African and African American Studies. It features photographs by Hakeem Adewumi and Celeste Henery. The exhibit, which will close on May 31, was curated by Stephanie Lang with the Warfield Center.

"Seen and Unseen" highlights the profound and timeless impact of the ongoing displacement of historically Black communities by featuring images of former Clarksville residents and their families, as well as architectural remains, discarded household items, and historical buildings in the neighborhood.

There will be an opening reception on Thursday, February 8th from 5:30PM-7:OOPM.

The IDEA LAB is located in Room 2.204 of the John Warfield Center, which is located in the Gordon White Building at 210 West 24th Street.
