The 11th annual Clarksville Family Fun Fest will happen on Sunday, May 19th from 1-5 at the Pauline Brown Clarksville Neighborhood Center, 1807 West 11th.
Some old favorite activities will return, like the petting zoo, face painter, climbing wall and bouncy house for little kids. This year however, the Fest will feature some fun new activities, like a free crafts table, a “fishing pond” for children and a photo booth that everyone in the family can enjoy. Also Mr. Will, a singer for kids, will make his debut appearance.
The Fest will also feature a silent auction, live music all day, the Taco Flats food truck, popcorn and Amy’s ice cream.
Although we are still lining up underwriters for the Fest, here is a list of the businesses that have agreed so far to help pay for event activities:
Aubrey Carter Design
Element 5 Architecture
McGuire Moorman Hospitality Group
The Gregory Group
All proceeds raised at the Fest will be used to help support the CCDC’s affordable housing program, which provides high-quality housing in Clarksville to 16 low-income families. It is one of the only programs of its kind in the nation that operates an affordable housing program in an affluent neighborhood.
