Thanksgiving in Clarksville, 1979

Earlier this year, we discovered a treasure trove of Clarksville Gold Dollar newsletters from the late 1970s and early 1980s. They capture a period in the history of Clarksville and the CCDC that was full of energy, idealism and ideas. Lots of good things were happening in the neighborhood and many of Clarksville’s old families were still alive. This blog post features some of their Thanksgiving plans.
