Interesting Black History Month Event: The Importance of African American Family History — Lost and Found. Mark Your Calendars!

This free, 1-hour event will take place at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 11AM on Saturday February 10th. It is being sponsored by the Clarksville Community Development Corporation (CCDC) and the Church and is part of the CCDC’s Clarksville Conversations quarterly speaker series. The speaker, Lydia Moore is excellent and inspirational.

After the event is over, attendees can visit the historic Hezikiah Haskell House, 1705 Waterston Avenue between Noon and 2PM. It’s located one block north of Sweet Home.
