Events

The CCDC organizes events for Clarksville residents. They are a fun way to build a sense of community in the neighborhood, to share information about Clarksville’s history, and to raise money for the organization. The events also offer residents volunteer opportunities.

Annual events include an ice cream social, Haskell House Day, and a Christmas caroling party. The CCDC also hosts Clarksville Conversations: Sundays at the Haskell House. This speaker series happens quarterly and coincides with when the Haskell House is open to visitors – on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month (January through November). Conversations run the gamut, but the focus is on topics which link to the history and legacy of the original Clarksville community and its descendants, the onsite Community Garden, and current issues of interest to the neighborhood.
