Revised Bylaws scheduled for adoption on July 15, 2025
A Special Meeting of the CCDC Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 6:30 p.m., to adopt revised bylaws for the Clarksville Community Development Corporation.
The bylaw revision is long overdue. We currently operate under bylaws adopted in 2011. The board undertook a revision in early 2020, but it was derailed by COVID. In the fall of last year, the board created a subcommittee to draft a new version of the bylaws, which they did with the help of the UT Law Clinic. This draft was shared with the Board and CCDC members in May, in order to receive comments and suggested changes. After reviewing this input, the subcommittee prepared a revised draft, which the Board will be considering for approval at the Special Meeting.
