Clyde Haskell, the Son of Hezikiah Haskell, Jr, Returns to the Haskell House After a Long Absence.
In early July, Clyde Haskell, the son of Hezikiah Haskell, Jr., visited the Haskell House again after an absence of about 50 years. He lived in the House as a young child, but then moved to California where he has lived ever since. Clyde was accompanied to the House by his daughter and grandson who live in Houston, and his step sister, who lives in Bryan. Other members of the Haskell family who live in the Austin area were also at the Haskell House and everyone spent time reminiscing about life in Clarksville. Also, Felecia Miller, CCDC vice president, did an informal interview with Clyde and his sister that was video taped by Jake O’Brien, the son of CCDC board member Kim O’Brien. That video is part of this post.
