RISE Fest Happens This Sunday

RISE Fest, an annual event that celebrates Austin’s freedom communities, happens in Pease Park from 2-5 this coming Sunday, March 29. Presented by the Tejemos Foundation and created by the Pease Park Conservancy, The Rise Project, and Outreach Productions, the event will feature music — the Sweet Home Baptist Church choir will perform — speakers, food and booths, including one hosted by the CCDC. Bring a blanket or a yard chair and come to the Park.
